The ASOBEXS North America community is preparing to welcome alumni from across the United States and Canada for the 2026 National Convention, a three-day celebration of fellowship, service, and the enduring legacy of Baptist High School (BHS) Buea. Scheduled to take place in Dallas–Plano, Texas, from July 17 to July 19, 2026, the convention promises an exciting blend of networking, community engagement, and memorable social activities.
Supporting Education Through Scholarship
This year's convention is held under the theme "Supporting Merit Base & Need Base Scholarship," highlighting ASOBEXS North America's commitment to investing in the future of BHS Buea students. Through this initiative, the Association seeks to provide educational opportunities for deserving students based on both academic merit and financial need, reinforcing its mission of giving back to the alma mater.
A Weekend of Fellowship and Engagement
The convention begins on Friday, July 17, with the General Assembly, where members will discuss matters affecting the Association and chart the way forward. The day concludes with a Meet & Greet, offering attendees the opportunity to reconnect with classmates, make new acquaintances, and celebrate the spirit of ASOBEXS.
On Saturday, July 18, participants will take part in group volunteer activities, demonstrating the Association's commitment to community service. The evening's highlight will be the Gala and Mixer, an elegant gathering featuring entertainment, networking, and celebration in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
The convention will conclude on Sunday, July 19, with a Morning Devotion, followed by a BBQ and Farewell Party, providing one final opportunity for alumni to strengthen friendships and celebrate the bonds that unite the ASOBEXS family.
Participation Packages
To cater to different attendee preferences, the organizing committee has introduced several table packages, including Silver, Gold, and Platinum options, each offering exclusive amenities for guests. The convention carries an admission fee of $100, which includes complimentary drinks, ensuring an enjoyable and welcoming experience for all participants.
